About Us

Hey, I’m Georgina. I’m the mum behind messy creators. With a degree in early years education and 10 years experience in children’s centres I felt it was the right time for a change of direction and share my expertise with more mums.

Since having two little girls I realised how difficult it was to find reasonably priced groups that are for children aged 0-5. Even more so when you have more than one child and you are required to pay for multiple places.

Messy Creators has been shaped through all of the knowledge, skills, and training I’ve built up over my career. I have experience running a variety of community groups, and during my maternity leave from a baby room lead position, I became a peer supporter for breastfeeding.

Each week I link the session to a theme with a variety of messy play activities including paint, playdough, coloured spaghetti, and angel delight, as well as a range of heuristic materials pulling on my interest in loose parts play and the curiosity approach.

You'll feel relaxed when joining a Messy Creators session as the child and their caregiver can explore the activities in their own time. Messy Creators aims to allow children to flourish through using their imagination and helping to develop their curiosity, communication, and physical skills.

These activities allow the children to explore using all of their senses, exploring different textures and seeing what noises the media makes when investigated. Messy Creators aims to allow children to flourish through using their imagination and helping to develop their curiosity, communication and physical skills.
